Meet Amir Khouri:

A Multi-Talented Musician

Amir Khouri is a Canadian-Syrian musician whose incredible talent knows no bounds. As an accomplished violinist, viola player, composer, conductor, and teacher, Amir has made a name for himself in the music world.

Early Life and Education:

Amir's musical journey began at the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus, where he studied violin, music history, harmonies, and piano. He also graduated with a degree in Violin and Viola.

Performance Career:

Amir's impressive performance career has taken him to numerous countries, including Canada, Syria, the Emirates, Tunisia, and Lebanon. He has participated in several concerts and festivals, showcasing his exceptional talent.

As a valued member of the Syrian National Arabic Orchestra, Amir has performed with renowned singers and artists from the Middle East. He is also a skilled soloist and chamber musician.

Current Projects:

Currently, Amir plays with the Rose Orchestra Brampton as a first violinist and is a violinist with the Canadian Arab Orchestra and Music Without Border Orchestra. In addition, he participates in various performances and festivals across Canada.

Teaching and Education:

Amir is passionate about music education and teaches at several institutions, including:

- Music At The Towers in Brampton/ Artistic Director
- Aurora Music Academy
- Dranix Music School

Other Ventures:

Amir is a member of St. Mary Church, where he oversees choir performances and organizes musical cultural events and festivals. He is also a musician, arranger, and composer for various studio music recordings.

As the Artistic Director of Music at the Tower, Amir leads concerts and events featuring stars and wedding performances.
